How to Start a Godmobile in Your Area

For over 20 years, the Godmobile ministry has led thousands to Christ each year.

Getting Started

We are thrilled that you are considering joining the Godmobile ministry! Below are the steps to help you set up a Godmobile in your area. It may seem overwhelming at first, but with guidance and prayer, you will find it rewarding.

Steps to Start a Godmobile

1. Get a Tent or Trailer

A tent is the most affordable and quickest way to get started. Choose a sturdy tent with sides so it can be closed at night. Check out sporting goods stores for options.

2. Purchase a Banner

Have a sign shop create a custom banner for your Godmobile. Make sure it fits your tent setup.

3. Get Insurance

You must have insurance for your events which is about $35 per year.

4. Gather Supplies

Here are some essentials:

  • Table or Tent w/weights or Trailer and Chairs
  • Flip charts - Available on the Resources Page
  • Tracts for handouts
  • Bracelets and Prizes for children
  • A bell for attracting attention
  • Wastebasket and cooler for water
  • A Spinwheel for candy prizes to attract the Kids
  • Optional: An electronic automatic bubble maker to attract the Kids

5. Find a Fair & Book a Spot

Search online for fairs in your area. Smaller fairs are ideal for beginners. Call the fair organizers and secure a booth space.

6. Staffing & Scheduling

Shifts typically run:

  • 10 AM - 2 PM
  • 2 PM - 6 PM
  • 6 PM - 10 PM

Each shift should have at least two people to operate the Godmobile.

7. Discipleship Follow-Up

Use our follow-up program to stay in touch with those who accept Christ.

8. After the Event

Ensure that all new converts receive discipleship materials and are connected with a Bible-believing church.
